Getting started

Learn the core Quire workflow, from your first document to a well-organized collection system.

Quire is a collaborative knowledge workspace for people and agents. Documents stay readable as Markdown while the app adds live editing, comments, history, collections, and agent attribution.

Start with a useful outcome

Create a document for a decision, plan, requirement, or reference that your team needs to maintain. Give it a descriptive title, then write in plain language. Quire saves as you work.

Use collections when several documents share an audience or purpose. A collection can contain documents and nested collections, so you can grow the structure gradually instead of designing everything up front.

  1. Learn the workspace and create your first document.
  2. Practice Markdown, tables, diagrams, images, and task lists.
  3. Organize related work with collections.
  4. Invite collaboration through comments and action items.
  5. Connect an agent when you want automation or structured assistance.

Start with fewer collections than you think you need. A shallow, task-oriented structure is easier to navigate and can be refined as the knowledge base grows.
